Things sort of went out of control
them easterners and their buffets started to spring up all over town
and sort of displace all the other shops
my four favourite sandwich shops all went out of business
and there were two noodle shops
noodles couldn't have been any more simple really
everyone had basements then
those were just a thing that everyone had
something about getting below the frost line
well eventually it got to the point where the only place to eat were the easterner buffets
and the whole culture started to change
where suddenly the cost of a lunch went down to a few dollars
and with a nice sunflower paneer mind you
those were not so bad really
most people would just sort of string up their hammocs
and chill around town
and people learned how to deal with the cold
sure aint as bad as being real high up
like a couple thousand meters like them folcen up in larame
nah things real could not be much more swell
the bells ring out every day
and though we aint supposed to see em
every once and a while
them ladies with the shawls around their head can be seen going about their business
getting them donation canisters which are scattered around and about
oh that all is really quite simple nowadays
just a bunch of layers on top of each other
