I sure wish I knew what I was allergic to.

Didn't used to be allergic to anything. But since moving back to the
Sac Valley... ugh.

yuck. what's blooming now? would it be worth an allergy test?

whatever i'm allergic to, it's in cheap perfumes. it hits me if
i'm in a supermarket aisle next to the detergent aisle. if i
need laundry detergent, i have to hold my breath while finding
the unscented products. i want to know why the unscented ones
cost more than the perfumed ones. that must be some cheap scent!

I looked at the weather.com site for pollen in my area: ragweed,
grass and chenopods--whatever the hell those are.

nod. I love all those scents, but my nose hates 'em. I love
candleshops too but my nose hates those, too.

Chenopods (kenopod): Any dicotyledonous flowering plant of the family
Chenopodiaceae, including leaf beet, sugar beet, beetroot, mangelwurzel,
spinach and goosefoot.

You can guess which of those you have.

just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

My allergies are always bad when I'm in the Sac Valley. I always have felt
that air quality has something to do with it. Dropping in from Reno, it's
easy to see why. The smog just kind of bounces around the Central Valley
for days at a time. It reminds me of seeing the smog come down the coast
from LA in San Diego.

yeah. It didn't used to be this bad. We used to see the Sierras once
in awhile.

And where I grew up, you could see Mt Shasta many times. Can't
anymore.

It's crazy. That's as good an argument for hydrogen fuel cells as we'll
ever need.

PS 2 Benadryls and a long nap work wonders for me. :)
